Prof. Dr. Ulrich Zeitel

Professor Zeitel studied law from 1977 to 1983 at the Universities of Mannheim, Bonn and Lausanne (Switzerland), and he earned his doctorate in law. jur. at the University of Mannheim In 1987. Zeitel started as a lawyer in Heidelberg and worked as a senior partner of a law firm, consulting on commercial law for medium-sized companies.

Since 1983 Zeitel has been working in the FORUM Institute for Management GmbH. Initially he was a project manager, then later becoming one of the three managing partners (1988-2004) and a sole managing director since September 2004. Within FORUM, he contributed reaching important milestones of the company:

  • 100 employees
  • EUR 15,5 million turnover
  • 1,500 events per year
  • 4,500 seminar days per year
  • 20,000 participants per year
  • Corporate partners in Italy, Jordan and Spain

Apart from his main involvement in FORUM, he served as a executive vice president of Springer Science + Business Media from July 2007 to December 2008, a member of the management circle of Klett AG in Stuttgart from 2009 to 2012, a lecturer in the International Private Law at the Institute for Law of the University of Vienna from 2004 to 2010, a member of the University Conference of the SRH University of Heidelberg since October 2012, and  a lecturer at the University of Heidelberg since 2014.

On May 18, 2017, Zeitel was awarded an honorary professorship by the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences for Management in recognition of many years of service to the development of hands-on training for working professionals in cooperation with the university.

Prof. Dr. Ronald Gleich

Professor Gleich is Executive Director of the Strascheg Institute for Innovation, Transformation, & Entrepreneurship (SITE) at EBS Business School since 2007. In 1998, he did his doctorate at the University of Stuttgart in the field of Controlling. He completed his Habilitation at the University of Stuttgart on “The System of Performance Measurement” in 2000. From 1998 to 2005, he headed the Stuttgart Office of the management consultancy Horváth & Partners; since 2002 as a partner. He became Professor of Industrial Management at EBS in 2003 and was responsible for various areas: Between 2003 and 2005, he was pro-rector for education and Managing Director at EBS. From 2007 until 2012, Professor Gleich was Managing Director of EBS Executive Education GmbH. Since 2009, he is Head of the Operations Department at EBS (formerly Department Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship).

Prof. Dr. Ivan Shverko

Member of the Board of the Croatian Bank, d.d.

He previously worked in Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank, as well as in Rijeka Bank, Erste & Steiermärkische and Volksbanci Bank. In 2000 she received a Masters Degree in Business (MBA) at the University “Kentucky” in Lexington USA, then in 2006 she received her PhD at the Faculty of Economics – Zagreb on the topic: Managing Non-Credit Risks in Croatian Banks. She is author of numerous scientific papers in the field of banking and finance, including: “Non-Credit Risk Management in Croatian Financial Institutions”, and co-author of the book “Money, Banking and Financial Markets”.
