COORDINATION MEETING WITH THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE HEIDELBERG INSTITUTE IN SKOPJE

On the eve of the ninth session of the management of the Heidelberg Institute in Skopje, the representative of ABIT and President of the Academic Council, prof. Dr. Naumoski had a working meeting for coordination with some of the members of the shareholders’ assembly of the Higher Education Institution in the Heidelberg Institute in Skopje.

Hence, at the meeting were reviewed the results of the work from last year and the plans and strategic directions of the management of the Institute were presented, with a meeting scheduled for the end of January 2022, in Heidelberg (FR Germany).

Namely, at the ninth meeting of the dean’s administration, the point for strengthening the team of the Heidelberg Institute will be proposed through cooperation with two prominent professors:

– Prof. Dr. Carl A. Lammers, a 26-year member of the German Bundestag and a member of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, as well as the Honorary Consul of Estonia in charge of the state of Baden-Württemberg (the first German state to introduce a dual education system in secondary schools and universities); and

– A representative from Mannheim State University who will lead Pillar 4 – “IBMHS University”.

With that aim, 2022 is a start of cooperation with the new members of the board, to promote new projects for dual education in the Western Balkans, with particular reference to the initiatives for the introduction of digital transformation processes, drawing on the experiences of Germany and Estonia. From this, in the following year, several important events and projects are hinted.

At the end of the meeting, the initiative for even stronger development of the certification programs in the Institute was supported, as well as intensified cooperation with the education in banking and insurance through active support of the programs in the Macedonian Banking Academy – ABIT. To this end, the management of the Heidelberg Institute has decided to establish the following Councils / Associations:

– MCA | Macedonian Controlling Association;

– Risk Management & Credit Analysis Council;

– Compliance & Corporate Governance Council;

– Branch Management Council.

Therefore, to this, if we add the “Digital Transformation Council”, a total of five Councils will be in function in the Heidelberg Institute from the next academic year 2022/2023, mentored and supported directly by Germany, in order to – improve and develop specialization programs, master studies and project development in specific areas.
