Goals

The purpose of this Conference is to contribute to the building of "public integrity" in the direction of good governance, which would contribute to all stakeholders involved in the public procurement process being truly worthy of public trust and respect. In that direction, the idea is for the participants to familiarize themselves with the current state of public procurement in relation to corruption and identified weaknesses, as well as to point out the risks of corruption that exist in the field of public procurement to fully shed light on the situation and encourage public awareness. In the direction of effective prevention and fight against corruption in public procurement. The participants will have the opportunity to initiate and open new issues and to exchange experiences resulting from the long-term fight against corruption in public procurement, with the aim of the relevant institutions taking appropriate measures in the direction of prevention and narrowing the space for possible abuses and corruption in public procurement.

Target group

The conference is intended for all institutions: contracting authorities, economic operators, lawyers, prosecutors, as well as judicial police who work directly or indirectly with public procurement and all interested people who work or want to work in this area. In particular public procurement persons or heads of public procurement organizational units from key ministries, local government units, and public enterprises, as well as public procurement persons from large corporations participating in tenders, consulting houses and conducting public procurement for economic operators and managers /owners of legal entities that participate or have an interest in participating in tenders.
