Short description:
The Corporate Governance Code is in mandatory application from 2023 for certain companies that are listed on the Macedonian Stock Exchange AD Skopje. At the end of each calendar year, according to internal rules, the stock exchange determines which companies will have the code changed, that is, which joint-stock companies will have to report on the application of the code. All other companies can apply it on a voluntary basis. The lecture will cover the structure of the Code, the questionnaires to be filled in and the more significant novelties compared to the previous requirements of the regulation, as well as a discussion of the more significant difficulties in applying the rules of good corporate governance.

All active stakeholders involved in the process of implementation and reporting on the application of the Corporate Governance Code by financial institutions and listed companies on the Macedonian Stock Exchange, as well as all interested parties who work or want to work on this issue.
