DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM
The Certified Controller® program is equivalent to the original German diploma and is performed in five levels with more than 50,000 students. Such a program has characterized controlling at the level of Central Europe for more than 40 years.
The listeners, in order to achieve sustainable success, need to learn the program gradually, step by step. The individual levels of specialization aim to build on each other, both in terms of the content of topics and in terms of the content of practical exercises. Namely, the program represents an integrated approach of combining theory, practical skills and international practice in the direction of improving the competencies of the participants in the study of control.
Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the program are taught in Skopje and provide an overview of controlling and the controller in the company as a business game. In level 1, the manager (individual) compactly orients and adapts to the profession of “Controller” in companies. In level 2, costs are studied, specifically cost management and cost accounting in companies. Integrated corporate planning is the basis of study in level 3 of the programme.
By completing the first three levels in Skopje and passing the exam, students acquire an international controlling certificate issued by ABIT | Academy of Banking and Information Technology. Levels 1, 2 and 3 are covered in 96 hours of lectures and workshops.
In the remaining part of the program, in level 4, the trainees are taught in Frankfurt, Heidelberg or Skopje depending on the trainees. During the study of level 4, the listeners will get acquainted with investment controlling and value-oriented corporate management.
Level 5 is intended for workshops and lectures by practitioners from large German companies in which the participants of the specialization apply and implement the skills of Controlling knowledge and practices they have developed. During the studies, the presentation skills of the listeners are moderately intensified. Namely, in each phase, the active participation of the listeners increases. In Level 5, the topics of external and internal reporting and communication and conflict resolution for controllers are addressed.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- The main purpose of specialization is to give listeners progress in knowledge, namely:
- get an overview of the entire controlling system;
- expand their scope of action as controllers;
- to deepen, strengthen and develop their international competence for controlling; and
- train their argumentation and explanation skills in English (for Level 4 and 5 studies).
