This curriculum aims to involve a group of students interested in learning and starting a career in the IT industry in a junior IT Support Engineer capacity. It uses a learning approach throughout 6 different modules that will be implemented in a hybrid mode, combined with theoretical and practical exercises and group activities to expand the knowledge and skills of the students and allow them to perform most of the usual IT Operations tasks.

The program will be implemented with a total of 6 modules, each covering various Information Technology topics, logically structured in order to build upon the previous one. Students shall gain strong theoretical fundamentals regarding Information Technology and industry-standard IT technologies that make up an Enterprise Infrastructure, as well as strong practical skills of IT Operations, which will include management of most widely used operating systems, workstations and servers, management of computer networks, understanding the interoperability of different IT systems, cloud computing, system administration best practices, user and computer management with directory services, dealing with cyber attacks, automation of the manual IT operations, best practices for troubleshooting IT systems, change-management, documentation of the IT infrastructure and finally how an IT professional should always carry out a great customer service.
Students who have successfully completed the theoretical and practical parts of the programme should be able to confidently perform tasks as an entry-level IT Support Engineer in an Enterprise environment.
