Ilija Abrashev comes from Veles. He is an alumnus of the first generation of the Heidelberg Academy for Web Developers, and from recently – a web developer in the position of .Net Engineer at Valtech.
- What is your Heidelberg story and experience as a listener?
My Heidelberg story started with the coronavirus pandemic, and instead of physical presence, the studies were conducted online, which has its advantages (you can listen to the lectures at home wearing pyjamas). We mastered the basics of programming at Heidelberg relatively quickly, thanks to the professors with vast knowledge and who spared no effort to explain even the most complex things we faced in programming.
- What motivated you to enroll in the Full-Stack Web Development training?
The profession of Web Developer provides flexible working hours, the opportunity to work from home, and is one of the highest-paid professions in the country. I have many years of experience in the field of sales and the position of sales representative simply stopped filling me. I decided to change my profession, and after a short thought, I enrolled at the Academy for Full-Stack Web Development at the Heidelberg Institute in Skopje.
- Tell us about your employment at Valtech.
Thanks to Heidelberg’s training and the dedicated team, I was able to get a job at Valtech. It is an international company with more than 50 offices worldwide. The first thing that comes to my mind to say is what I experienced, and that is that there is a great atmosphere for work, the offices are modern and comfortable, and the colleagues are friendly.
- Recommendation for future students.
“Warm up the chair”, practice as much as you can and be very persistent.
